Internship and Field Experience The Luxury Travel Institute provides Internships / Apprenticeships to college students who wish to learn and gain knowledge through real life experience and wish to secure a career with our company after graduation. Internship Program: This program is available to college students who wish to learn about our industry and become a part of our travel family. As a Luxury Travel Advisor the Intern will be responsible for designing life experiences for affluent clientele. During the 16-week course, the Intern will learn every aspect of the Luxury Travel Business.
The Internship Educational Program trains the intern in the following disciplines: Ethics Philanthropy Development of a Client Base Client Retention Listening to the client, Making the Sale, Closing the Sale Niche Travel Specialties Cruising Hotels, Resort and Spas Reservations Back Office Administration Geography Destination Knowledge Business Licensing Marketing Advertising Public Relations Contract Negotiations Special Events Honeymoons Destination Wedding Planning Weddings: 101
The Internship / Apprentice is a classroom, work experience and field study program. The Candidate Intern will be responsible for developing an International Destination as well as a Major City within our system. Upon completion of all work, the Intern will have earned a full CMTA Certificate and will be eligible for a career as a Certified Master Travel Advisor with the Luxury Travel Institute in the city she has developed.
